Grace has been with the Local Government Commission since January 2016 working as a Water Intern, Assistant, Coordinator, and Project Associate. Grace primarily works in climate change and energy by supporting a number of LGC programs, including ARCCA, CRC, LGSEC, SEEC, and BPC. She also helps coordinate LGC’s Annual New Partners Conference, SEEC Forum, California Adaptation Forum, and The Business of Local Energy Symposium.
Grace graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Development. During her time in college, she interned at a nonprofit where she worked with community members and local government staff to coordinate educational hikes, astronomy nights, and various other outdoor adventures for children and teenagers to encourage youth to spend more time outdoors. Grace also volunteered to teach first and second graders how to be environmental stewards and create a more sustainable world.
